Cooler with more sunshine on Monday

A cold front moved through around midday Sunday, bringing very dry air to northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. It also brought gusty winds, which resulted in an elevated fire danger. However, winds have decreased substantially after we saw several wind gusts over 30 mph at times on Sunday.
It was a windy Sunday across the area.
Look for skies to be mostly clear as you head out the door early Monday morning to go back to work or school. Temperatures will be on the chillier side in the 40s.
Temperatures tumble into the 40s by daybreak Monday.
We'll see high temperatures down in the mid-to-upper 60s on Monday after Sunday's frontal passage, which will be a nice change! Look for mostly sunny skies and light winds to be in place to kick off the new workweek.

We'll bounce between the upper 60s to the lower 70s through Thursday, with some chilly nights in the 40s as well. Unfortunately, we'll also see the continuation of our sunny and dry weather pattern. We'll hope this can change soon, as we continue to be in need of a good soaking rainfall.
Drought continues across the area.The forecast remains unfavorable for much drought improvement.
By Friday into the weekend, we'll see more clouds and temperatures higher in the 70s. We'll also track some slight rain chances returning by Sunday and Monday.
