The Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers will battle it out on the latest installment of “Sunday Night Football.” Come chat with us in our open thread. In Week 5, the “Sunday Night Football” showdown will feature a pair of historic NFL franchises when the Dallas Cowboys travel to Pennsylvania to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite their long histories, they have only played each other 33 times, with Dallas holding a 16-14 regular season lead and Pittsburgh leading 2-1 in their Super Bowl matchups. The Cowboys (2-2) opened the season with a big win over the Browns, but it’s been downhill from there. They lost to the Saints and Ravens over the next two weeks, then barely snuck by the Giants in Week 4. But the win came at a cost, as they lost DeMarcus Lawrence (to injured reserve) and Micah Parsons (out multiple weeks) to injuries. Meanwhile, the Steelers (3-1) took care of the Falcons, Broncos, and Chargers to start the season, but couldn’t complete a comeback against the Colts in Week 4. Betting line and pick for the game Pittsburgh has been steadier through four weeks but Dallas arguably has more established talent. This game is expected to be close and the folks over at FanDuel Sportsbook have set the betting line at Steelers -1.5 points. In my opinion, both of these teams have underwhelmed this season. I think the loss of Lawrence and Parsons could be huge, but I also am not sure Steelers quarterback Justin Fields can take advantage. I think Dak Prescott could be the difference in this game. With the Detroit Lions looming in Week 6, the Cowboys need this win or they could be in danger of entering their bye in Week 7 with a 2-4 record.
