ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 45-year-old Rochester man was stabbed Sunday afternoon and left seriously injured, police announced. According to the Rochester Police Department, the victim was found stabbed at least once on Asbury Street around 2 p.m. He was taken to the hospital where he was expected to survive. According to officers, the man found stabbed here on Asbury Street, was actually stabbed a street away on Avon Place, but he ran from the initial scene (WROC/Trinity Wilson.) Investigators said they believe the stabbing happened as a result of an argument between two family members, noting that the incident actually happened a street away on Avon Place. As the investigation continues, police said the surrounding area will remain closed. No one was arrested. Police asked anyone with information to call 911.
