PAOLI, Ind. — Indiana State Police's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force arrested a Paoli man who allegedly transmitted child pornography online. According to a press release from ISP, 30-year-old David Robertson — also known as David Tuell — was detained after police executed a search warrant at a residence on Walnut Street in Paoli on Friday. The ICAC began looking into Robertson's activity after it received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in September. The report the ICAC got indicated Robertson used one of his online accounts to transmit pornographic images or videos depicting children. After he was arrested, Robertson was transported to the Orange County Jail. He has been preliminarily charged with one count of child molestation and three counts of possession of child pornography. The most serious of the charges Robertson faces — child molestation — is a Level 1 Felony in Indiana. The maximum penalty for such a crime in the Hoosier State is a 40-year prison sentence and a fine of up to $10,000. As of this article's publication, ISP had not made any additional information on Robertson's case available.
