County to host more community meetings on bond

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- El Paso County will host its third phase of public meetings on its capital improvement bond that will be up for approval by County voters during the general election on Nov. 5.
The County is asking for approval of five propositions which total $323.8 million.
These are the last chance to see a full presentation on the proposed projects, the County said.
The County has five more meetings left. Two will be in person and three will be virtual with American Sign Language and Spanish interpreters available.
Here is a schedule of upcoming meetings.
6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, virtual
6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, virtual, Spanish only
10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at Gallegos Park, community room, 7361 Bosque Rd.
10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at La Fe Montana Vista, community room, 14618 Greg Dr.
6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, virtual (neighborhood associations, open to public)
