NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — Two men have been arrested, and one has sustained serious injuries after a pair of motorcycle crashes on the morning of Sunday, October 6. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at approximately 12:06 a.m., a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound on Interstate 29 towards the Main Avenue exit when its driver lost control of the vehicle. This caused him to put the vehicle down onto the roadway, where it slid along the pavement and entered the east ditch. North Dakota Crash Tracker 2024 The driver sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash, and was transported by ambulance to Sanford Hospital. He has since been charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Another motorcycle, a 2013 Harley Davidson, was traveling behind the first crash when its driver attempted to disembark and provide aid. While doing so, however, he lost control of the vehicle — causing the motorcycle to enter the east ditch, roll down a hill, and strike a fence. The second driver was also arrested on DUI charges. The first crash currently remains under investigation. Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox. Subscribe Now Today's Top Stories SIGN UP NOW
