ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A part of State Route 5 in the village of Bloomfield will be closed Monday to accommodate a culvert replacement project starting at 6:30 a.m. A posted detour will be in place that will utilize Oakmount Road and Gauss Road for eastbound traffic, and Maple Street and Main Street for westbound traffic. The schedule is subject to the weather. Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of one's driver's license.
