FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Over 2,000 Indiana Michigan Power customers were without power in northeast Fort Wayne Saturday. The I&M Outage map showed about 2,077 customers without power near Brookside Estates. According to the map information, the outages started around 12:30 p.m. Saturday and were expected to be restored around 3:00 p.m. As of 1:06 p.m., the majority of the outages have been restoring, with slight outages throughout the area. The map shows about 137 outages around 1 p.m. No information on why the large amount of customers without power is known at this time. The map also shows other outages near Reed Road, Moeller Road and W Main Street. WANE 15 will provide updates as they become available.
