SALISBURY, N.C. – A woman is facing murder charges following a shooting in Salisbury that left one person dead and another critically injured.
Around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, police responded to East Innes Street near Lee Street in regards to shots fired.
When officers arrived, they located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, 47-year-old Donald Krajnyak, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
Investigators responded to the scene and identified 23-year-old Alexus Bost as a suspect. She was arrested around 6 a.m. at a home seven miles north of where the crime occurred.
Bost was booked in the Rowan County Detention Center without bond. She has been charged with first degree murder and attempted first degree murder.
