CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person died and another was injured after a shooting in east Charlotte on Saturday night. It happened around 11 p.m. in the 8000 block of Trousdale Drive near Albemarle Road.  When officers arrived, they located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic and the other was transported with non-life-threatening injuries, CMPD said. Officers are working to learn the relationship between the two victims and are actively searching for a suspect.
