SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The Padres are continuing their postseason journey in game one of the NLDS Saturday night against the Dodgers after defeating the Braves earlier this week in the NL Wild Card Series. The first of five games in the National League Division Series (NLDS) began at 5:38 p.m. Saturday with Friars fans coming out in full attendance to Gallagher Square and bars in downtown San Diego and across the county to watch the game happening at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Admission is $5 and benefits the Padres Foundation. Postseason tickets are on sale for fans to snag after the Padres beat the Dodgers with a game-ending triple play to secure their playoff spot. Access is limited to residents in nearby geographical locations. Access can be unlocked by placing a deposit on a 2025 suite. The 2024 postseason is narrowing down, with eight teams going head to head to make it one step closer to the World Series.
