WILLIAMS COUNTY, Ohio (WANE) — At around 5:12 p.m. on Saturday a crash happened in Williams County that left two with serious injuries.
The crash happened on US 127 at the intersection of County Road I.50 in Jefferson Township.
Jacee Altaffer, age 18, of Montpelier, Ohio, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Malibueastbound on County Road I.50. She failed to yield and ran into Sommer Wolford.
Wolford (age 46, of Convoy, Ohio) was driving an SUV south on US 127 with her husband.
Mrs. Wolford and Mr. Wolford were transported by Williams County EMS to BryanHospital. Mr. Wolford was later transported via Life Flight to ProMedica Toledo Hospitalwith serious injuries.
Altaffer was initially transported to Bryan Hospital before being flown via Life Flight to Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
