Minot police are cracking down on distracted driving and alcohol compliance laws
Oct 05, 2024
MINOT, ND (KXNET) — The Minot Police Department was busy keeping the roads safe from distracted drivers and making sure area businesses were not selling alcohol to minors.
It was part of a crackdown earlier this week, where they set up distracted driving enforcement and alcohol compliance checks throughout the Magic City.
Minot Police say 21 drivers were cited for distracted driving and three businesses for serving alcohol to minors.
The crackdown is part of a broader strategy to reduce risk and improve community safety through the North Dakota Department of Transportation partnership.
