NORTH CAROLINA (WAVY) -- The North Carolina Highway Patrol's Aviation Unit mobilized to support disaster relief efforts in the western part of the state. Additionally, the crew worked to help restore communications throughout the state by relaying equipment and personnel to communication towers throughout the region.
