ALGIERS, La. (WGNO) — A man has been hospitalized following a shooting that occurred on Saturday, Oct. 5, in Algiers. According to the New Orleans Police Department, police responded to a call reporting the shooting in the 1100 block of Michael Street at 3:49 p.m. One hospitalized, another killed in 9th Ward shooting The initial investigation showed that a man sustained at least one gunshot wound, and that he was then taken by EMS to be brought to a hospital.
