"I am incredibly proud of our students' accomplishments," said Fabens HS Marching Band Director Miguel Soto. "Our students remain committed to working and improving the Marching Show for the upcoming Socorro Marchfest and the UIL Contest." "There is nothing more I can say, other than I am really proud of my band," said Fabens HS Marching Band Drum Major Felix Flores. "All their hard work has paid off and will continue to pay off. Now, we prepare for the SISD Invitational and UIL, where I know we will do just as well." "I felt really nervous going into today’s competition, but I knew in my heart that the band worked so hard to achieve that Division 1. We worked long hours out in the sun, and it was brutal, but in the end, it was worth it. I’m super proud of my band for putting in all their efforts today. I really want to thank our band directors, too, for helping us, along with our band parents for always feeding us and fundraising for us," said Fabens HS Marching Band Drum Major Zay Galindo. According to Fabens ISD, the marching band is now preparing for the Socorro ISD Marchfest and the UIL Marching Contest.
