(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating a shooting at the Atlas Preparatory School on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 5, that led to the death of one person, according to CSPD. CSPD reported that officers responded to the scene at South Murray Boulevard near East Fountain Boulevard, where they found a man around 30 years old dead after a shooting. CSPD is developing suspect information, but no arrests have been made at this point. At around 2:30 p.m., CSPD reported that southbound Murray was closed to traffic between Center Park Drive and Merchant Court due to the investigation, and asked people to avoid the area.
