Central Ohio Weather and Radar High pressure over the Northeast brought abundant sunshine. A light southerly flow sent temperatures into the upper 70s, nearly 10 degrees above normal for early October. Skies will be clear tonight, with morning temperatures in 50s. Sunday will be warmer and breezy, as winds turn southwesterly ahead of strong low pressure north of the Great Lakes. A trailing cold front will initiate a narrow band of afternoon showers and storms well east of I-71, with the potential for gusty winds and brief heavy rain, before exiting eastern Ohio by early evening. In the wake of a stronger cold front, pleasantly cool weather will follow early next week. We'll see lots of sunshine through the week.
