EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) - A 100-gallon diesel tank spilled over the road at Midland and Courthouse Roads, on Saturday morning. The incident has caused Midland Road to be shutdown, according to the Effingham County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) Traffic Unit. The ECSO Traffic Unit tells News 3, no one was injured in the incident, and they are not sure when the road will be reponed. Crews are currently on the scene cleaning the road. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes if traveling in the area.
