Miners football takes care of Jordan Friday on the road

The Miners football squad took care of Jordan Friday with ease, winning the road contest 37-7 to advance to 7-1. Park City scored throughout the night to open up a 30-0 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Both teams scored a touchdown in the fourth. The Miners now have two remaining regular season games. Next up is their senior night game against Tooele Thursday at 7 p.m. Park City’s regular season finale will be Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Springville. The Miners are fighting for both another regional title and all-important playoff seeding down the stretch. Park City sits a half-game behind Stansbury in the regional standings, and will hope to secure a top four seed in the state playoffs. The top four seeds receive first round playoff byes and home field advantage through the quarterfinals.
