PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) held a food drive on Saturday, and those who donated received a “special pricing offer” to see the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Shucked. The event took place outside of the theater from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will benefit the organization We Share Hope. PPAC said those who donated a nonperishable food item, or items, will receive the special offer for tickets to the evening shows on Sunday, Oct. 20, or Tuesday, Oct. 22. Shucked will kick off its national tour at PPAC on Sunday, Oct. 20, running through Sunday, Oct. 27.
