PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Gloria Gemma "Flames of Hope" is a weekend-long celebration of life honoring breast cancer awareness. The weekend features several events meant to inspire and provide support, awareness and hope. The weekend begins on Saturday morning with the "Passport to Survivorship" Expo at the Rhode Island Convention Center. This free experiential health event is open to the public and brings together the latest in medical cancer care with holistic wellbeing. The weekend also features a torch ceremony, WaterFire lighting, festival, and 5K.
