KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Kansas City, Kansas. According to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, just after 1:10 a.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to the area of Barnett Avenue and North Fifth Street on reports of a shooting. One man dead following Drury Ave. homicide Friday evening Upon arrival, KCKPD officers found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. KCKPD said the deadly shooting is currently under investigation by the department's Major Case Unit.
