KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police have identified a man who was shot and killed Friday evening in Kansas City, Missouri. According to the Kansas City Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Drury Avenue and East 20th Street. When officers arrived, EMS was already on the scene and notified police that a man was found dead with gunshot wounds. Police later identified the man as 30-year-old Rommel U. Nolasco-Manuelez. FOX4 Forecast: Hot & windy Saturday Preliminary investigations reveal that an argument took place between the Nolasco-Manuelez and an adult male suspect before it escalated to gunfire. At this time, there is currently no suspect information. This is being investigated as a homicide and is considered ongoing. Detectives and crime scene investigators are gathering evidence and collecting witness statements. If anyone was in or around the area at the time of the incident or has any other information, they're asked to contact homicide detectives directly at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
