Alabama man pulled from flaming vehicle in Wisconsin crash, pronounced dead at the scene

OAK CREEK, Wis. (WFRV) - A 32-year-old man from Alabama was pronounced dead at the scene of a fiery crash in southeastern Wisconsin early Saturday morning.
According to the Oak Creek Police Department, officers got multiple 911 calls around 2:40 a.m. on October 5 about a vehicle on fire in the middle of the 2200 block of West Ryan Road.

First responders arrived at the scene to find a vehicle fully engulfed in flames with the driver unconscious and trapped inside. Authorities were able to pull the man from the vehicle while simultaneously trying to put out the fire.
Officers say that once the 32-year-old was pulled from the vehicle, it was discovered that he was not breathing. The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash after lifesaving measures were attempted.
After a preliminary investigation, officers determined that the man was westbound on West Ryan Road when he reportedly veered off the road, crashing into a traffic light pole. No other vehicles were involved, the release noted.

The Oak Creek PD was assisted by the Wisconsin State Patrol, Franklin Police Department, and Oak Creek Fire Department during the incident.
