Football Friday Night: Dutchtown High scores 24 straight to beat St. Amant High

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPOUD) — St. Amant High School carried much momentum into its game with Dutchtown High School.
The Gators are coming off a double-digit come-back win against Scotlandville. The game started slow, but the Gators scored the game's first touchdown late in the first quarter with Cooper Babin connecting with Timothy Johnson Jr.
The Gators kept their foot on the gas, taking a 21-0 lead heading into the half. Dutchtown woke up in the second half, scoring 24 unanswered points to win the game, 24-21.
The game did come down to the final second but the Gators couldn't connect on the final play to win.
