There, Harris spoke with residents who had lost homes and suffered severe damage to their homes, first responders, local officials, and helped hand out meals to volunteers and residents in need.Monday, Oct. 7 is the final day Georgians can register to vote in the upcoming election. Georgia remains one of several battleground states that will be crucial in deciding whether Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz or former United States President Donald Trump and his running mate Ohio Senator JD Vance will be in the White House for the next four years. All four have recently visited Georgia within the past three weeks. “Georgians need to know their vote matters,” said Democratic National Committee spokesperson Cameron Niven in a statement. This November, Georgians have the power to choose between two visions for this country: Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz’s positive, pro-freedom vision and Donald Trump’s dangerous Project 2025 agenda.”Early voting in Georgia begins on Tuesday, Oct. 15The post Democratic Party launches youth voter registration campaign in Georgia appeared first on The Atlanta Voice.
