HS Football Wrap: Pennsbury roughed up by CB West

FAIRLESS HILLS, Pa. — The Pennsbury High football team continued to find the going rough in the Suburban One League Friday when it was beaten by Central Bucks West, 27-6.
Noah Miller had a big game for the Bucks (5-2) passing for 168 yards. One of those passes was an 88-yard TD hook-up with Ryan Clemens, who had 85 rushing yards on 21 carries.
Pennsbury did not score until the fourth quarter when Jordan Brensinger reached the end zone on a 5-yard run.
Brensinger finished with 86 yards on 18 carries.
It will not get any easier for Pennsbury (3-4) when it travels to North Penn (6-1) Thursday night.

ALLENTOWN — Matthew Schweitzer threw for 231 yards and a pair of touchdowns, Sean McCaffery ran for two scores and the Redbirds (4-2) bounced back to by blanking the Greyhounds (3-3).

BLACKWOOD — Caron Woods returned a pair of interceptions for touchdowns, Jayden Davis ran for two fourth-quarter touchdowns and the Irish (4-2) pulled away from the Tartans (1-5). Musa Kamera had a touchdown run in the second quarter and Wyatt Moore caught an 85-yard scoring pass from Julian Matera in the third to open up a 21-0 lead.

MOORESTOWN — Matt James kicked a field goal in the second quarter and Isaac Pate made it a two-score game with a three-yard touchdown run in the third as the Spartans (3-3) won a defensive struggle over the Quakers (0-6). Pate gained 157 yards on 24 carries.

DELRAN — Carmine Carusone booted an 18-yard field goal in the fourth quarter for the game’s only points and the Tigers (3-3) handed the Lancers (5-1) their first loss.
Burlington Twp. 42, Burlington City 8
BURLINGTON — The Falcons (6-0) easily handled the Blue Devils (3-3) to set up next week’s battle of the unbeatens against Hopewell Valley.

DELRAN — The Bears (5-1) jumped all over the Rams (1-5) early and never looked back.
Morrisville 28, KIPP Dubois 12
MORRISVILLE, Pa. — The Dawgs improved to 6-1 and continued their fastest start of the 21st Century. Raymond Holman had another big night running the ball and the defense returned two interceptions for touchdowns.
