Skies have cleared out this morning after a weak disturbance moved through for our Friday. It even brought some light rain showers to some areas in Fort Wayne. We'll see another system move through on Sunday, but we look to be rain-free for now. While a weak disturbance did move through yesterday with a cold front, we will actually be warming up for the weekend. Our stretch of warmer-than-average afternoons will continue as temperatures climb into the upper 70s for high temperatures today. On Sunday, a warm front will be stationed to our north, bringing in more warm air. We reach a high temperature of 80 degrees in Fort Wayne under mostly sunny skies. We will also see some breezy moments as another cold front will move through. Winds start out southwest in the morning, becoming northwest in the afternoon, with winds of 10-20 mph, with gusts up to 5 mph. We look to be dry as the cold front pushes through. This weekend, temperatures reach the upper 70s on Saturday. It will be hot Sunday with a high around 80° and just above. Unlike Friday's cold front, this front will certainly cool us down. On Monday, temperatures get back down into the 60s. There will be plentiful amounts of sunshine throughout the week. Rain chances are slim-to-none through most of next week.
