Bishop Kearney HS cuts the ribbon on new sport court and pavilion

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) —A ribbon cutting ceremony at Bishop Kearney High School signaled a new beginning for student athletes.
The Anderson Sport Court, a gift from Renewal by Andersen considered a state-of-the-art facility, includes tennis courts, a basketball court, and an inline skating area, along with a timber-frame pavilion for outdoor gatherings.

The new facility, officials said, is expected to enhance Bishop Kearney students' academic, athletic and spiritual growth.
"It's an amazing space and it touches so many areas of both our students, staff, alumni. it touches so many places of their lives in the sense that the pavilion can create memories for years to come," said Paul Colontino, the president of Bishop Kearney High School. "With Alumni reunions, classes that are held outdoors, friendships that are made, the court itself. You can feel the energy now with the people around."
