CAMPO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A brush fire that broke out in Mexico Friday prompted temporary evacuation warnings in Campo, the County of San Diego said. Around 5 p.m., the San Diego County Sheriff's Department posted on X about the fire, dubbed as the Border 74 Fire, burning near Shockey Truck Trail and Highway 94. As of 6:06 p.m., the fire activity within Mexico has decreased, holding at around 50 acres with no active fire within the United States, according to Cal Fire San Diego. Police respond to call of overdose on eastbound SR-905 Evacuation warnings were in place for parts of Campo, but have since been lifted. Firefighters will continue to monitor the fire overnight.
