SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Get ideas for your next home remodeling or landscaping project during the Showcase of Remodeled Homes. 10 projects in the Sioux Falls area are available for the public to see from noon to 5 p.m. today and Sunday. A $5 punch card gets you into all the homes. All aboard the Prairie Village Pumpkin Train at Historic Prairie Village west of Madison, SD. Kids 12 and under can ride the train to the pumpkin patch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and pick a pumpkin to take home. The cost is $5 per child. Parents can ride along for $2. Riverview Christmas Tree Farm in Canton, SD is hosting a Pumpkin Festival. New this year: a giant pumpkin cannon and apple cannons. Families can also enjoy pumpkin picking, pumpkin painting, train rides and duck races. The hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Then, you're invited to summon your courage and take a stroll along the Haunted Trail from 7-9 p.m. The cost is $10 for ages 9 and up. It's $8 for children 8 and under. Money raised supports Canton High School's FFA and Drama Club. Viking Days activities at Augustana University in Sioux Falls include a pancake feed from 8-10:30 a.m. in the Humanities Center. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. at University Place to 33rd Street on Grange Avenue. The homecoming football game against University of Minnesota Duluth starts at 1 p.m. at Kirkeby-Over Stadium. The Ed Polzine Wild Game Feed is hosting a Fish Fry at the Brandon VFW from 4:30 to 6:45 p.m. The cost is a freewill donation with the money going to help Brandon area kids and adults who are facing serious health issues or other challenging life circumstances. Winners of the 30 Guns in 30 Minutes raffle will be drawn at 7 p.m. 5-acre corn maze shaped as country music artist Gift & Thrift at East 10th and Bahnson in Sioux Falls is hosting their final Outdoor Sale of the year. More than 100 vendors will be selling antiques, vintage, retro, collectibles and hand-made items in the parking lot and inside the store starting at 10 a.m. Fall Festivals in KELOLAND include Country Apple Orchard in Harrisburg, SD and Mazing Acres in Yankton from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Bridges at 57th Street in Sioux Falls is hosting a Fall Fest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Sioux Valley Model Engineers Society is hosting an open house at their club building on the north side of the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds. The free open house runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday. Farmers Market season in KELOLAND includes the Falls Park Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Brandon Farmers Market goes from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 925 North Splitrock Boulevard. The farmers markets are held each Saturday through the end of the month. The Premiere Playhouse presents Freaky Friday at the Orpheum Theater Center in downtown Sioux Falls. The performance is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35. Movies playing at the historic State Theater in downtown Sioux Falls include Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, rated G, plus The Substance and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, both rated R. The Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium features Magic Globe, T. Rex, Cities of the Future and Experience the Aurora.
