KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Police Department responded to a homicide Friday evening, October 4. Police say that officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of the 2000 block of Drury Avenue. When officers arrived, EMS was already on the scene and notified police that an adult male victim had been declared deceased after being located in the street suffering from a gunshot wound. FOX4 Forecast: Hot & windy Saturday KCPD says that their investigation indicates that an argument took place between the victim and an adult male suspect before it escalated to gunfire. There is currently no suspect information at this time. This is being investigated as a homicide and is considered ongoing. Detectives are CSI are currently gathering evidence and collecting witness interviews.
