Tee Jay's Corner Cafe Tee Jay's Corner Cafe will once again host "Chowder for Charity" on behalf of F.I.S.H. Friday October 4, 10am-8pm. Tee Jay's Corner Cafe is located inside Cactus Jack's Casino at 420 North Carson Street, Carson City, NV. Tee Jay's Corner Cafe provides all the homemade traditional New England Clam Chowder for the event with 100% of donations going to F.I.S.H. as this local charity and social support organization prepares for the coming winter to help those in need. This is the 4th year Tee Jay's has hosted the event. The Chowder is free as a thank you gift for a hearty donation to F.I.S.H. It is the kick-off event for chowder season at the cafe. The Clam Chowder is from a traditional recipe found in the "Chowder" chapter found in the novel Moby Dick and as sales would indicate, quite popular with Carson City residents. Tee Jay's Corner Cafe asks that participants "give till it hurts, then soothe the pain with a fabulous bowl of Clam Chowder."
