WHEATON, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) was looking for two women accused of trying to rob someone in Wheaton in September. In a news release published Oct. 4, MCPD said that the assault happened near the Safeway in the 11200 block of Georgia Ave. on the evening of Sept. 14. Montgomery County entrepreneur opens fitness hub in hopes of fostering community, wellness Police said that the two suspects -- described as females around 18 years old -- first approached the victim while they were walking into the store. The two suspects approached the victim again while the victim was walking to their car which was parked in the basement garage. MCPD said that the suspects attacked the victim, kicking and hitting them and making them fall. A bystander noticed and yelled for the suspects to stop, and the suspects escaped the garage towards Fern Street.
