ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A search is underway for a trio of men accused of robbing a home in Macedon early Friday morning. According to Deputies in Wayne County, the suspects also tied the residents up and threatened them with a weapon. The robbery happened at a home on Route 31F around 5 a.m. Deputies said at that time the suspects, described as Spanish speaking, broke in, waking up a woman and her husband. According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, the man and the woman were met by the three men who they did not know, before being threatened and restrained. The residents reported that two of the men pulled out what appeared to be guns. Multiple items were taken from the home before the suspects took off. The husband was later treated at the scene for what were described as minor injuries. The suspects have not been arrested yet. Deputies described them as three Hispanic men, last seen wearing hoodies in the area of Quaker Road and Canandaigua Road in Macedon. News 8 has reached out to the sheriff's office for more information, including a more detailed description of the suspects. We have yet to hear back. In the meantime, if you think you know anything you're asked to give the Wayne County Sheriff's Office a call at (315) 946-9711, call 911 or submit a tip on the agency's website. Deputies emphasize that no one should approach the suspects should they see anyone matching their description.
