2 arrested after camera sees them breaking into Clovis home, police say

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two people were arrested after police say they were caught on camera in a Clovis backyard while the person living there was not home, according to the Clovis Police Department.
Officers say the two suspects were seen on Thursday at around 12:45 p.m. in the backyard of a home in the area of Peach Avenue and Nees Avenue. The person living there called police and officers arrived at the home to find the suspects had hopped the fence to get away. Two suspects were arrested nearby - but a third suspect remains on the loose.

Clovis Police identified the suspects arrested as 20-year-old Jesus Mercado Obeso and 21-year-old Tatiana Saavedra, both from Fresno. The two were booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of felony burglary and conspiracy.
Details on the third remaining suspect were not immediately released. Officers ask that anyone with information about the burglary contact the Clovis Police Department at 559-324-2800.
