HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 57-year-old woman is dead after she was hit by a car on Brook Road Thursday night. Just after 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, officers with the Henrico County Police Division were called to the 5200 block of Brook Road for the report of a crash involving a pedestrian. When they arrived, officers found 57-year-old Barbara Robinson, of Henrico County, with serious injuries. According to police, she was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where she later died early Friday morning. Investigators determined that Robinson was crossing the road when a BMV moving south hit her. The involved driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. This is just one of multiple deadly crashes involving pedestrians on Brook Road this year, including one in the same block. In that March crash, the victim was 52-year-old Lolita Brumfield, of Henrico. Brumfield, like Robinson, was also crossing the road when she was hit.
