HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Looking for ways to get the kids excited about going green? Central Virginia Waste Management Authority will co-host a workshop with Love To Share Foundation America, a nonprofit, about recycling, waste management and decomposition in mid-October.
The workshop will be held in the meeting room in the Glen Allen Public Library in Henrico County from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14.
Attendees will learn about recycling, sustainability practices and waste reduction through activities, including a relay race.
The event is geared toward middle and high school students, and admission is free. Registration is required and must be completed by noon on Oct. 7. To register, click here.
