PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Two of Rhode Island's powerhouse programs will go head-to-head Friday night as the high school football season continues. In this week's edition of the Friday Night Blitz, 12 Sports' Sam Knox and Mike Uva will bring you high school football scores, highlights and more from around Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts, including the Game of the Week: Bishop Hendricken vs. La Salle. Providence Journal sportswriter Eric Rueb will also join us to break down the night's games and highlights the area's top talent. This season, 12 Sports is recognizing players through a new segment called Player of the Week. Voting was open Monday through Wednesday, and fans selected St. Raphael's running back Damien Ocampo as Week 4's winner. Be sure to check back for next week's nominees.
