(WFRV) - The Marinette County Sheriff's Office posted an update on 'Operation Fill The Cruiser' on Friday afternoon, which was a resounding success. The donations, which totaled over 22,010 pounds of goods, were transported from Marinette County to a collection site in Green Bay. According to the release, the donations are being loaded into semi-trucks. 15 Wisconsin electric cooperatives leave for South Carolina to assist with Hurricane Helene damages The semis will take these donations and head to multiple areas that Hurricane Helene impacted. The drivers are working with local law enforcement in affected areas to plan the drop-off. "Thank you again to all in our community who helped make this happen," the post reads. "We truly live in a great area, and this will certainly have a big impact on those affected by Hurricane Helene."
