The sky is clearing out for the evening after a weak weather system moved through earlier today. It gave us some mostly cloudy moments and some areas even saw sprinkles. With the sun back out, our Friday evening is a comfortable one. Temps start off in the 70s and fall from there. By Friday night football time, games start with temps in the upper 60s and fall to the low 60s by the 4th quarter. Bring a jacket. Overnight, our temperatures will fall to the 50° mark by daybreak. Temperatures for Friday football will fall into the lower 60s by the end of the games. Following some warm days this week, there's more warm air in place for the weekend. Saturday's highs will be in the upper 70s and we'll be even warmer on Sunday with highs reaching the low 80s. There will be plenty of sunshine both days, thanks to high pressure influencing our weather. During the day Sunday, a cold front crosses the region and it's followed by much cooler air that'll be in place on Monday. As this front makes its move through Sunday, it'll make its presence known by an increase in our winds. You can expect southwesterly, then northwesterly winds up to 25 mph. This weekend, temperatures reach the upper 70s on Saturday. It will be hot Sunday with a high around 80° and just above. On Monday, with the cooler air moving in behind the front, the day's highs will only be in the upper 60s. However, we're back to the 70s for highs on Tuesday and we'll remain in that range the rest of next week.
