BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A man arrested for brutally attacking and raping a woman will go to trial next month. Edward Harper Junior was back in court in Burleigh County this week following a mental health exam. And, now he's been found to be competent to stand trial. Harper is accused of following a woman home from a bar last winter and raping and beating her. He then fell asleep and the woman called for help.
