MANDAN, ND (KXNET) — Mandan Public Schools has done some heavy lifting over the years to make sure kids in the area have a quality facility to learn in. The new Mandan High School is just one example, with $100 million allocated for state-of-the-art classrooms, common areas, and more. But Mandan Public Schools pushed, pedaled, and pulled a little further for their students — with a new gym. "Just the number of kids you can get here to work out at the same time," said Jesse Cloos, a Fargo-based market specialist for Push, Pedal, Pull (PPP). "It can get quite a few kids working out all at once with heavy-duty racks that will last a lifetime." Since 1985, PPP has designed and furnished gyms for all kinds of businesses across the country. From coming up with a 3D gym layout to having exercise equipment shipped and installed, PPP helps businesses every step of the way when it comes to creating new opportunities for health and fitness. The best way to prevent mold growth in shoes "The company has grown. We take up the entire midwest," said Cloos. Almost a year ago, Cloos got a call from Mandan to do just that for the new high school. And despite being separated by more than 100 miles, the process to create the gym was seamless. The current gym is decked out with half racks, bay systems, turf layout, as well as custom bumper plates and bay systems with the "Mandan Braves" logo. And it can easily contain Mandan High School's estimated 1,200 students. "Keeps kids healthier, gets them stronger, got good coaches to coach them," said Cloos. But to Cloos, this project is more than just another sale. "It makes me feel great watching the kids get stronger," said Cloos. "I come from a small school back in my high school, and we didn't have anything like this. And this turns out great. Kids love it." Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox.
