Election deadlines: What to know if you plan to vote

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Monroe County Board of Elections shared important information for voters Friday, one month before the November 5 general election.
County Board of Elections Commissioners Jackie Ortiz (D) and Lisa Nicolay (R) said voters could expect to receive a mailer in the coming days, with details about early voting. There will be 17 early voting locations in Monroe County this year, open from October 26 through November 3.
According to the board of elections, nearly 500,000 people are registered to vote in Monroe County this year — the most registered voters in the county's history. For the first time ever the county will issue a robocall to those voters with a phone number on record. That call, expected next week, will contain a quick message with important deadline information.
