(KRON) -- The Hans Zimmer concert at Oakland Arena was delayed Thursday night due to a bomb threat, according to the Oakland Police Department. OPD investigated the threat, which came in just after 7 p.m. Officers responded to the area and the arena posted about the concert being delayed at 8:21 p.m. The concert was slated to begin at 8 p.m. Safeway to pay millions for overcharging customers: Alameda Co. DA OPD officers were made aware of two separate calls reporting the bomb threat. OPD officers along with the Alameda County Sheriff's Office Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD), and Oakland Arena security established a perimeter and conducted a sweep. No explosive devices were found during the search, but the investigation remains active, police said.
