FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A Morton Middle School sixth-grade student died Thursday after a medical emergency, according to Fall River Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Tracy Curley. “We will make every effort to support our students and staff as needed and will have additional grief counselors readily available to support anyone who may be struggling with this news or who feels personally impacted by this tragedy,” said Curley. The medical emergency did not occur on school grounds, according to John Guilfoil Public Relations, which represents Fall River Public Schools.
