PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Islanders will need to register by Oct. 6 to be able to vote in the November election. The last day to submit a mail ballot application is on October 15. One can sign up online to register to vote, or visit their local board of canvassers’ office. In order to register to vote, you will need: A Rhode Island DMV issued driver’s license or State ID number Your name as it appears on your Rhode Island driver’s license or State ID card Your date of birth Early voting begins on Oct. 16.
