BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WPRI) — Crews are still working to upright an excavator that rolled over in Burrillville on Thursday.
Maj. Albert Carlow Jr. said Douglas Turnpike will be temporarily closed from the north side of Broncos Highway to Joslin Road while the excavator is removed.

The excavator was working behind a barrier in a construction zone when it overturned and went over the edge of the support piles to the new retaining wall and into the woods.
"The overturning was a slow motion event which resulted in no injuries," Carlow Jr. said in a press release.
It's unclear how long it will take to upright the excavator.
