ANDERSON, Ind. — The Anderson Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred Thursday night, which they are currently ruling a homicide.
According to APD, officers respond to a welfare check in the 900 block of W. 12th Street around 6:56 p.m. Thursday night. Upon arrival, they found a man dead.
Police said their initial assessment of the deceased indicated "...an unnatural cause of death". They added that the Madison County Coroner's Office will perform an official autopsy and determine the exact cause of death.
